Are you ready to ROAR? Join us for the ninth annual Sherman Lake YMCA Kids ROAR on Sunday, September 15, 2024. Kids ROAR is a Rogue Obstacle Adventure Race featuring mud pits, water, color, obstacles, monkey bars and so much more! With 2 distances to choose from – 1 or 2 miles - participants are free to pick the course that will challenge them! Kids ROAR is for kids’ ages 5-14 (children ages 5-7 must be accompanied by a parent).
Participants who register by August 26, 2024 are guaranteed a Kids ROAR t-shirt!

Online registration will close on Thursday, September 12 at 11:59 pm or when capacity is reached. There is NO race day registration.
As always, parents are welcome to join in on the fun. There is a registration fee of $10 per adult (15 and over) which INCLUDES the official Kids ROAR t-shirt.
Families with 3 or more children in the same household will receive a $5 discount per child on their registration.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
Although Kids ROAR will take place rain or shine, if there are conditions that may affect the safety and health of our participants, a delay or cancellation of the event may be necessary. Please note our inclement weather policies below.
THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS
The Kids ROAR may be canceled or delayed if any of the following weather conditions exist: tornado warning, tornado watch, thunderstorm, "heavy rains", or other major weather conditions.
START OF THE RACE/CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT
The start of the event may be delayed for a short time if any of the above mentioned conditions exist. The event may then be canceled if threatening weather conditions persist.
AUTHORITY TO CANCEL THE EVENT
The Race Director has the authority to cancel the event.
BROADCAST OF CANCELLATION
If Kids ROAR is canceled, we will notify all participants by email and post the cancellation on our website and Facebook page.
REFUNDS
Registration fees are non refundable. However, should the event be canceled, participants who registered prior to the t-shirt deadline will still receive their t-shirt and will receive a communication regarding a pick-up location.
