    Run or Walk to support Radnor Memorial Library at the annual Elves for the Shelves 5K & Fun Run.

    Kick off the holiday season with us!  As part of the traditional Christmas in Wayne activities, the Elves race is a fantastic way to gather family, friends, and colleagues for a fun, festive morning.  Funds raised through this event support the Library's mission to provide programs, collections, space, and other resources that enhance the quality of life for the entire community.

    Time:        8:00 AM
    Location:  Radnor Memorial Library

     

    5K Timed Race:  Racers start and finish this 5K in front of Radnor Memorial Library.  The race is professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Race Company.  Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each age group in the 5K.  Age groups are:  6 & under, 7-9, 10-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39...60-69, 70+.

    Fun Run/Walk:  The 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk is for all ages and is stroller & wheelchair accessible. Santa will be in attendance and prizes will be awarded for creative costuming!  Walkers are asked to participate in this portion of the event.

    Virtual Run/Walk:  Don't live near Radnor?  You can participate from afar and run or walk wherever you are!  Sign up as a Virtual Runner/Walker and log your distance and time on race day.

    T-Shirts: Register by Nov. 10 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.

    Organize a Family or Company Team:  It's better when you do it together!  Organize a family, workplace, or community team.  Set a team fundraising goal to support the library. 

    Donations:  Participants can also set individual fundraising goals!  Those who raise or donate $100+, $300+, or $500+ will receive incentive prizes and be listed on our Thank You Banner at the event.

    Packet Pick Up:  Friday, December 1, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM in the Library's Windsor Room (on the lower level).  OR pick everything up on race morning between 7:00 - 7:30 AM.
