    The fifth annual Camp Classic at El Tesoro is a 5k or 10k Trail run that runs through our resident camp along the banks of the Brazos River.  During and after the run, we plan to have a few of our camp activities, like our archery range, open for participants and family members to enjoy.  

    On Friday night, January 19, we will offer a pre-race meal created by World Famous Chef Jon Bonnell.  On top of creating and running the Bonnell Restaurant Group, Jon is also an Ironman Triathlete and plans to join us on the run. (cost $30)

    Runners can stay overnight in our cabins and experience s’mores, a night hike, and an evening camp fire. (cost $30)

    Race T-shirt guaranteed to all racers, including Fun Runners, who register before Jan. 4th, 2024.

    Registration Fee’s:

    1M fun run –free (no awards)

    5K- $30

    10k- $40

    Additional t-shirt $10

     

    Award Categories:

    For both the 5k and 10 k

    Male and Female

    14 & under, 15-19,20-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64, 65 and over

    Unique awards for Overall Male, Female, Masters Male and Female

    Awards for 1st in each age group and gender for 5 and 10 k

    We plan to Host the awards at Revolver Brewing (about 2 miles from Camp)

    Runners attending the awards ceremony at Revolver Brewing will receive one beer with a bib number, but it does not include a commemorative glass.  Runners can buy a wristband that includes commemorative glass for the discounted price of $10 when they show their bib.

    Race Day Schedule:

     Packet Pick up starting at 6:30am

    1 Mile fun run starting at 8:30

    5k and 10 K starting at 9am

    Awards ceremony 11am

    No Pets and No Alcohol or Smoking on the Camp Grounds
