The Olympic and Sprint distance races start in the calm and clean waters of the East Arm Grand Traverse Bay. This looped swim gets your race started before you move onto leg #2: The Bike Course. Is swimming not for you? Try our Duathlon and enjoy the thrill of racing just the bike and run courses!

The Sprint and Olympic Bike course run north of East Bay Park, utilizing the East Arm peninsula. Enjoy scenic orchards, vineyards, and coastlines along both sides of the East Arm. The bike course will prepare those legs for the final portion of the triathlon: The Run Course.

Complete your triathlon with an all-paved run course through Traverse City's neighborhoods and Northwestern Michigan College. Push yourself to the finish of the all-new Traverse City Triathlon!

This race delivers a beautiful and safe course, professional race management, and an incredible racing community - making this Northern Michigan's most memorable triathlon! We will see you at the start line.
