Run, Jog, Skip, or Dance down Main street for this 3rd annual fun run/walk put on by Shoes & Brews and the Longmont Downtown Development Authority (LDDA).

At just around a mile this run is all ages, all abilities and completely festive!
Before the Longmont Lights parade hits the streets, let's enjoy a peaceful main street while also raising money for our community.

While this event is free  - we do have a $5 suggested donation per participant.  All of the proceeds go directly to Colorado Kids Belong. Colorado Kids Belong works to improve the experience and outcomes for kids in foster care by spreading broad awareness and creating meaningful engagements. We mobilize people to become foster parents and equip the community to support them through our Foster Friendly mobile app.

Participation in the walk/run includes:

Walk/run along Main Street with holiday lights & race bibs from Shoes & Brews to wear during the run, a goodie bag from our partners including snacks from Natural Grocers &  Hand Warmers from LoKation Real Estate - Ashlee Anderson. 

After your race enjoy a Hot chocolate bar in the Cheba Hut parking lot along with some additional snacks and water from our partners. 
Make sure to dress and run your best as we will have giveaways and prizes for best dressed, most lights, best family outfit, and best stroller decoration. 

NEW THIS YEAR:

• Addition of a timing clock so you can see your time as you cross our finish line. 
• We have moved our start and finish line to Main Street & Longs Peak Ave. This gives us access to our partner Cheba Hut’s parking lot for registration, check-in, and hot chocolate drinks and snacks afterward. 
• Addition of a pre-race packet/bib pick-up @ Shoes & Brews on Friday 12/8 from 2-8 PM. So you can grab your goodies prior to race day. 

Registration is highly suggested prior to race day.

There is race day registration as well starting at 3:30 in the Cheba Hut Parking lot located at 635 Main Street, Longmont CO 80501. Southwest corner of Longs Peak & Main Street. 

Race day registration and check-in will begin at 3:30 PM at the Shoes & Brew tent set up in the Cheba Hut parking lot (635 Main Street).

Run/Walk starts at 4:30 PM. Start line on Main & Long's peak. Race will first go down the west side of Main, takes a u-turn at 3rd & Main,  and heads back toward Longs Peak to the finish line on the east side of Main. 

After-party & hot chocolate bar will in the Cheba Hut parking lot for all participants.  You can grab a hot drink and a snack before the lights parade comes down Main Street!

Please have each participant register for the race. Parents, kids, etc. Each child shall receive a race bag with goodies, lights and a bib. Adults will receive a race bib.
