    About the Event:

Runners will enjoy a fun and adventurous trail run at Polk County Parks & Recreation's Bone Valley ATV Park. This year's race will feature a 10k, 5k and 1 mile fun run of uneven terrain and a few hills. Who knows maybe there will be a Sasquatch sighting?

Legend has it, Sasquatch has been lurking in the woods at Polk County Parks & Recreation’s Bone Valley ATV Park.  This mysterious creature has set up some traps to distract all humans from finding him.  It is up to us to find Sasquatch and unmask his traps on the beautiful trails of Bone Valley ATV Park. CLICK HERE to see the course maps and links to Garmin for elevation maps from 2022. Courses will follow different routes in 2023.  New maps will be updated soon. The 1 Mile run/walk will be the only race that will feature blasts of color.

Registered runners will receive a t-shirt and swag bag. Shirts are guaranteed to those who pre-register before January 13, 2023. After that, the shirts will be available on a first come first serve basis while supplies last. Please note that some sizes will not be available close to or on race day.

Each event will end with an awards ceremony for various age groups and fun interactive activities.

We are only offering day of race packet pickups. Please follow Polk County Parks & Recreation’s Facebook Page @PolkCoFLParksAndRec and your emails once registered for any race updates. (This page will also be updated periodically.)

For the love of all that is good and moisture wicking...

Though we try to be accurate and on top of things... Race details can change when we aren't lookin. And once in a while we simply make a mistake.

ALWAYS visit the race's website for the most complete and accurate race information.
