Come and join us for first annual Desert Stampede 5K Trail Run/Walk on Saturday, Nov. 16, to support Northern Cochise Community Hospital Scholarships! The NCCH ‘Grow Your Own’ Scholarships are awarded to local individuals who will enroll in medical college coursework in hopes of entering the medical field or to hospital employees who would like to advance their medical education. After the race, enjoy a day in Arizona Wine Country as our town of Willcox grows 74% of Arizona's grapes! 

WHEN: Saturday, November 16th 
WHERE: The race will be held on Steve and Shaye Klump's active ranch property, located behind and up the hill from Coronado Vineyards. Enter the race site through the gate located across from 3031 East Country Club Drive, Willcox, AZ 85643. The terrain includes sand washes, hills, and rocky ground. The race location has wonderful views of our historic railroad! Though this is our first race, the race route is regularly used by the Willcox High School Cross Country Team! 
RACE PACKET PICKUP: Fri., Nov 15, 12 to 6 pm at NCCH; Sat., Nov 16, 7:30am at event; Race at 8am
COST: $35 prior to Nov 16; $40 day of event.
Children 12 and under $25 (5 and under free)*
To avoid the $3 online registration fee, you may also register in person at the NCCH Admin Building (903 N Bowie St), 8am-4pm weekdays. Card and cash accepted. Please make checks payable to "NCCH Scholarship".
OTHER RACE DETAILS: BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE! Water jugs to fill up water bottles will be provided at the start/finish line. Bag check will be available. Free parking available, please refer to map on where to park. This a self-timed race, we will not be timing people!
