    ABOUT THIS EVENT:

     

    Join us for the annual Buccaneers' Treasure Chests 5K + Fun Run, powered by Jabil!

     

    We are back with two great options to complete the 2023 TC5K on your terms. Race with us in person on Sunday, October 22 or virtually anytime, anywhere October 22-29. Every registration benefits local organizations in our community who specialize in breast cancer research and patient services, so register today!

     

    The Treasure Chests 5K + Fun Run, powered by Jabil, is a fall tradition that kicks off the NFL's Crucial Catch: Intercept Cancer initiative. This annual event raises funds to support breast cancer research and patient services, with a portion of each registration benefiting four Bay-Area non-profit organizations. Since 2013, the race has generated over $470,000 in support of the fight against breast cancer.

     

    Both courses will finish in the Buccaneers Indoor Practice Facility at AdventHealth Training Center! 

     

     

       

    REGISTRATION INCLUDES:

     

    • Race bib (In-person 5K participants' will be chipped)

    • Official Treasure Chests 5K + Fun Run t-shirt

    • Commemorative finisher medal

    • Donation to breast cancer research and patient services

    No game ticket is included in this year's registration

    Virtual and Fun Run participants are not eligible for awards

     

     

    COURSE DESCRIPTION: LIVE RACE


    The 5K (3.1 miles) race is chip-timed and participants will receive a bib with a timing chip attached.  The chip will begin timing once you cross the start line, recording your net time until you cross the finish line.  The 1 mile Fun Run is an untimed/unchipped event.  Participants will be running/walking on both grass and concrete surfaces of varying terrain starting near the AdventHealth Training Center and ending inside the AdventHealth Training Center.  

     

    COURSE DESCRIPTION: VIRTUAL RACE


    The Virtual Race means you complete the 5K (3.1 miles) in your local area anytime between October 22-29, 2023.   After you complete your 5K race, share your virtual experience with us on social media using our hashtag #BucsTC5K and share your accomplishment with your friends!  With the virtual race, you are responsible for your own safety. Please do not run on unsafe roads, or areas that have been closed off to the public. Obey the rules of traffic. Please follow all requirements set forth by local, state, and federal authorities. The virtual race isn't timed and results will not be posted.
     

    CONTINGENCY:

    If we are unable to hold a live race for any reason, the race will still take place in a virtual format. Registrations are not refundable or transferable in such an event. The net proceeds will be directed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Foundation in support of breast cancer research and patient services.
