    Enjoy some of the most iconic low country scenery of the Charleston area as you run beside the Stono River on the West Ashley Greenway.   If the running doesn't take your breath away, the views will.

    After the run, stick around for some family fun.  Shrimp and grits, live music, drinks to quench your thirst, a bounce house and much more.

    The Hammer It Out Hustle race is a family-focused event that raises money for MUSC Children's Health.

    The Hammer It Out Hustle 5k and Fun Run runs in conjunction with the Hammer Out Pediatric Cancer campaign.  Hammer Out Pediatric Cancer was started in 2013 by Chuck and Christine Towne in an effort to give back to MUSC after their son, Chase, went through months of treatments after being diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma at the age of 8 months.  Through the support of the community the Hammer Out Pediatric Cancer campaign as donated thousands of dollars to the Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital. The all-volunteer board works passionately in hopes of making a difference with children and families battling cancer.

    One hundred percent of profits raised through the Hammer It Out Hustle will be donated directly to MUSC Children's Health.
