The Wildcat Extra Mile is a one-mile race for competitive runners, casual walkers, and everyone in between! There will be multiple race heats so participants can run or walk at their own pace. This year's event takes place during the Total Solar Eclipse weekend! There will be some fun extra Eclipse extras, including a limited edition Wildcat Extra Mile Race Eclipse shirt in both dry-fit and soft cotton! The Wildcat Extra Mile is the Championship one-mile race in the Arkansas Grand Prix series in 2024. This is a fast USATF-certified one-mile race that starts and finishes in front of Harding Academy. We encourage students, parents, grandparents, friends, and neighbors to come out and go the extra mile with us Saturday morning, April 6, 2024.  For elementary participants, race proceeds will be used in the classrooms to the benefit of teachers and students. In the past, these funds have been used to purchase playground equipment, bleachers, and classroom iPads. Race proceeds from high school participants will benefit various sports programs, Robotics, Theater, Chorus, and Band.  Thank you for supporting Harding Academy!
