This is the final race of our Triple Crown Challenge. It is strategically placed on the calendar before many of the spring marathons and half marathons.  It is the perfect distance for the build up on your training plan.  The event is held at Picard Park in Milton, Louisiana. The tradition will continue and a specialty item, such as a jacket, will be given to those who register. Must register by December 22 to be guaranteed a jacket! We will NOT be doing a reorder/reprint.

We’re excited that Al Comeaux LA10 is once again the Road Runners Club of America’s 2020 Southern Region 10-mile Championship!! 🏆

A little history about this designation: Since 1958, the RRCA has awarded championship events through a competitive bidding process at the National, Regional, and State level to RRCA member clubs and events to promote the sport of distance running. The goal of the RRCA Championship Event Series is to celebrate and shine a spotlight on well-run, community-focused events and to award top performing runners in the open, masters (40+), grand masters (50+), and senior grand masters (60+) categories for both men and women.

Race day registration is available, but there is no guarantee that you will receive a jacket in your size. Quantities are limited. Must register by December 22 to be guaranteed a jacket! We will NOT be doing a reorder/reprint.

Awards will be given to overall male and female winners and the top THREE finishers in each age group: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and older. We will add older age groups in 10 year increments as needed.
