About our Event...

The Zeta Zeta chapter of Kappa Delta at California State University, San Bernardino is hosting their 14th annual Shamrock 5K Walk/Run March 23th, 2024. The Shamrock Project is a national Kappa Delta program, that both collegian and alumnae support, to raise money for the national and local child abuse prevention organizations. Our goal is to raise $20,000 for the prevention of child abuse. Eighty percent of the funds we raise will stay in our community to fund the incredible work being done by the Childrens Fund in San Bernardino. While the remaining twenty percent will go towards Prevent Child Abuse America. 

Registration...

The registration fee will be $45 for each runner. For CSUSB Students, Faculty, and Staff the registration fee will be $40 when your CSUSB email is provided. Day of race registration will be $50 for both CSUSB affiliated and non CSUSB affiliated participants. Runner T-shirts will be given to the first 150 participants who register (first come first serve), no t-shirts guaranteed.

The day of...

Participant check in will begin at 8am with the race beginning at 9am. Check in tables will be located north of the G parking lot towards the tennis courts. Please park in parking lot G located towards the east of the CSUSB campus. A CSUSB parking pass will be required and can be purchased for $3 at one of our parking kiosks. Parking with no pass can result in a parking ticket. 

We will also be hosting a community event with food, games, and music on the PE lawn 1 after the race until 11am. All are welcome, come join us for the fun!
