    Come run with us! The 39th Corrida de Los Locos will be held on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024.

    Bib pickup will be at the rugby fields starting at 7:15 AM – 7:50 AM

    5-mile race starts at 8:00 AM

    Kid’s 1-mile Fun Run starts at 8:15 AM

    This year the Corrida de los Locos will have a new venue. The race will start and finish at the MRC Rugby Fields, 205 Caja Del Rio Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87507. We will have wonderful views of the Jemez Mountains and the Sangre de Cristo mountains. This year’s course will be primarily dirt, very little asphalt, or concrete.

    Parking for the Corrida will be at the MRC softball fields. All Corrida participants, family, and volunteers will use the walking path that goes under Caja del Rio Rd to access the Rugby fields.

    Virtual Race

    If you cannot run in person, please sign up for the virtual race. Run or walk anytime from February 26 to March 1st. Results must be entered before 9:00 a.m. on March 2nd to be eligible for raffle and other prizes. Record your time on the Results page.

    Beneficiary

    The Santa Fe Striders are proud to offer scholarships to graduating seniors who meet the selection criteria.  Additional scholarship information can be found on our website www.SantaFeStriders.org.

    Last year we gifted $7,000 to three deserving high school seniors from north-central New Mexico who participated in track and/or cross country and are attending New Mexico College and universities. If you'd like to help support the scholarship program, please consider an extra donation of $10-$20, or whatever you can afford, to help these promising young student-athletes.

    Shirts and Awards

    Register before February 16th to receive a technical race shirt.

    We will have a breakfast item and coffee will be provided along with other post-race snacks immediately following the race. Awards will be distributed after most runners have completed the race.

    Virtual runners will NOT be eligible for age group awards.
