This is the 16th annual Running for the Future race being held in Wathena, KS. The courses run on rural roads, paved. The 5k is nearly flat out and back. The 10k is a hilly first 5k followed by a downhill and fairly flat and fast last 5k. There are water/gatorade stations every 2 miles on the course for both the 5k and 10k courses. Medals will be given to the top 3 in each age division and to all kids run finishers.

5k and 10k start at 8:00am
Kids fun run starts at 8:05am
Race starts near the corner of 4th street and st. Joseph streets in downtown Wathena.
Race day registration will be available from 7 am to 7:55 am.
