Join us in our new location at the Hudson Lakefront Park!!  Help us kick off the summer season in a fun way and support your furry friends at the same time!  There will be music, an adoptable dog area, a kid's race, vendors, kid's corner, food and more!!   Join us at this fabulous location and start the summer off right by enjoying a new route, new scenery, and old friends.   The new race route will start and end in the Hudson Lakefront park near the bandstand area, and we are excited to be in a beautiful location overlooking the St Croix River with a wide open area for vendors and the start/finish line.  

It will be so awesome to be outside, with friends and family, enjoying the scenery, music and food, AND helping support Coco's Heart in a safe and fun way!!   

The Almost 5K is a chip-timed, yet Family Friendly event that anyone can participate in... even your dog!   Other options to support the event this year include a 'sleep in' virtual option to run at your convenience, and a casual walk (not-timed) - with or without your dog - something for everyone!! We are offering a free Almost 5K registration option for children 10 and under that does not include chip-timing or t-shirt, although kids t-shirts will be available for additional fee.   There is also a Kids Run that you can register for in the event the kids want to just walk/run a shorter distance! 

Registration for in-person 'almost 5K' event includes race shirt and finisher gift.  We will also provide a race bib with timing chip along with a link to a training plan and the course layout.  At least two water stops will be available on the course, providing water for both humans and dogs.   For the 'sleep-in' virtual option, we will provide a race shirt for you to wear while enjoying your relaxing day, and for the casual 1 mile walk you will receive a dog bandana and swag - t-shirts will be available for an additional fee.  

You can also make a bigger impact on our rescue efforts while earning discount codes for our online shop by fundraising! When you sign up for the event it will ask you to set up a fundraiser. This can be on the race website and/or Facebook.

This event is one of the largest annual fundraiser for Coco's Heart Dog Rescue. Our organization spends hundreds of thousands of dollars on veterinary expenses each year and relies on donations to fund our rescue efforts. After another rough year during which many animals still needed help, this successful fundraiser will allow our organization to continue to rescue many dogs and give them the chances and care that they deserve!   Thank you!
