The Run for the River is an annual fundraiser for the Musconetcong Watershed Association (MWA).  MWA is a non-profit organization formed by residents of the Musconetcong Valley in 1992.  Our mission is to protect and improve the Musconetcong River and its watershed resources through education and outreach programs to local schools, landowners, and municipal officials.  In addition, MWA conducts river cleanups and stream bank restoration projects.

Funds generated by the MWA Run for the River will be used to support the MWA education program, River Watcher program, hiking and paddling trips, River Talks, and more.

Registration and more information can be found online at www.musconetcong.org/run-for-the-river or by emailing info@musconetcong.org.  Those who register before April 18 will have the option to choose a commemorative short-sleeved t-shirt and will receive a free swag bag.  You can also register on the race day from 8:30 am to 9:15 am.  Walkers start at 9:45 am, and Runners start at 10:00 am, rain or shine.

Register early! The price will increase to $35 on the day of the race.
