    Enjoy the beautiful scenery at the Earl May Boat Basin and Flint River as you “Run for the Beads” in our 5K/Fun Run! Make sure to dress in your best Mardi Gras garb because in addition to prizes being given in each division, we will be honoring the runner with the best costume! The Mardi Gras Society of Southwest Georgia Corporation is an all-ladies non-profit organization whose purpose is to support the charities of Southwest Georgia. The charities throughout Southwest Georgia are approved by committees year round and are supported by financial and in-kind assistance. We put the “FUN” in FUNdraising by creating Mardi Gras events for the community to raise the funds to contribute to the SWGA Charities.
