JOIN us for the MOCHA MILES 5K/1K on Saturday, February 25, 2023 @ 8:30am.  Enjoy some hot chocolate post race during the awards ceremony.

This race will benefit Mentor Me - North Georgia, Inc.  Mentor Me serves children and youth by providing professionally supported mentoring relationships with approved volunteers.

Mentor Me is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the diverse needs of children and youth, ages 6-17, in Forsyth County.

Since 2002, Mentor Me - North Georgia has connected mentors with children in need of guidance in improving their self-image, life choices and responsibilities.  It's all about one-on-one time spent with the volunteer and the young person doing things they enjoy - a few hours a couple of times a month filled with shared interests and activities like playing in the park, fishing or talking.  The volunteer's schedule can be flexible to meet the needs of mentors and young people in different kinds of situations.  Mentors can meet with their mentees on the weekend, evenings or after school.

Event details and schedule

COURSE:

The course will start from the bus lanes at Denmark High School and continues out to Mullinax Road.  Takes Mullinax Road towards highway 9 then U-turns onto multipurpose path returning back to the finish line in the bus lanes.  Course is relatively flat and fast.

5K - 8:30am

1K - 9:20am

RACE DAY REGISTRATION:

Race Day registration will take place at Denmark High School in front of the bus lanes beginning at 7:00am.  This building faces Mullinax Rd.

PACKET PICK-UP:

Race Day (Saturday, February 25th):  There will be on-site packet pick-up at Denmark High School in front of bus lanes beginning at 7:00am.

TSHIRTS:

All pre-registered participants are guaranteed a Long Sleeve blend race t-shirt if registered by February 15th.

Overall Male/Female; Malsters Male/Female; Age Groups Male/Female: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and Up.
