    About the Event

We invite you to gather your friends, family and co-workers to form a Walk/Run team or join as an individual participant. This is a family-friendly fun walk/run open to all ages and abilities. The run will NOT be timed. Participants can walk up to 2 miles or run up to 6.2 miles on a paved trail at Stony Creek Metropark. Each mile will be marked along the trail for easy tracking & turn-around points. Virtual participants can choose the distance of their Walk or Run as well.

We invite ALL participants - virtual and in person - to watch the LIVE program. The program will be streamed on our Facebook page on Sunday, September 24, 2023 before the Walk/Run kicks off at 10:00 am ET. Click here to view or like our Facebook page.

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I create a team?
During registration, you will setup a team name. Share your team name with others so when they go to register, they look for your team name to join.

Do all team members have to run/walk together?
No, that is the great part about a virtual race! Each team member can walk/run at their own pace on their own time.

Do all team members have to do the same distance?
No, each team member can choose to do their own distance.

Do I have to submit my time to get my swag?
This is NOT a timed race, so your official Walk/Run t-shirt will be mailed to you once you achieve fundraising or donating $100 or more.

    Will I receive a Walk/Run t-shirt?
Participants who fundraise $100 or more will receive a FREE Walk/Run t-shirt. We will also offer fun and exciting prizes the week leading up to the Walk/Run for participation in our new Walk/Run Week Festivities.

When will I get my shirt?
Shirts ordered by August 4th will arrive in time for the Walk/Run. Shirts ordered after August 4th will ship out as quickly as possible, but are not guaranteed delivery by Walk/Run day.
