    About This Event
Join us for the best party race of the season! This five-mile event, held at the luxurious four-diamond Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, is the perfect weekend getaway for you and your running pals!  The Party this year will be held in the Grand Ball Room which is located just north of the main entrance to the resort.  The party this year will include the world famous Schnapps Stop (at the end of the run), food, lots of beer and soda, music, dancing, dance contests and more.  The party will close down at about 8:30pm.  The theme for this years party will be "Decades".  Dress up like your favorite decade.  A 20's flapper, 50's greaser, 80's rocker, a 2000 computer geek, etc.  You get the idea.

The registration fee will be $45 until 12/31/21 11:59pm.  After that it will be $50.  Registration will be open until 8:00am on 1/8/22 (Race day morning).  There will be no registration after 8AM race day, and on site registration for this event.  Is there a person who can't or does not run who wants to join the party?  You can buy a guest ticket for $30.  Just click on the tab "Guest Tickets"

5 mile out and back on country roads and around the resort.  Same as recent years with the start/finish line right outside the Forum room, a short walk from the Grand Ball Room.  Begin by running the paved path on lake side of lodge the full length of the buildings, take a left just past Building 7 through the parking lot and then a right on the road down the hill, at bottom of hill turn left, continue past the airport buildings and off resort property turning right onto Sheridan Springs Road. Take a slight right onto Back Road, continue until you reach the turnaround. Return the way you came, remembering when reaching the top of the hill there is about a half mile to go. At top of hill turn left through the parking lot and onto the paved path next to the lake side of the lodge where you follow it to the finish.

    Race History
It all started on a balmy winter day in 1980 at the Playboy Club in beautiful Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Over 1,000 runners showed up for our first-time event. The late John Jantz fired the starter’s pistol, and Playboy bunnies, in uniform, gave out the trophies! Since then the run has added many additional run and party features. Join us for the 43rd running of the best darn race and party in the Midwest!

The race begins and ends at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, just East of the intersection of Hwy 50 and Hwy 12 on the East side of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. After the long driveway you will see the main building on your right.  The Grand Ball Room will be the area just north of (just past) the main entrance.  Packet pickup, pre race and the party will all take place in the Grand Ball Room.

    Bib pickup
Bib numbers may be picked up on race day starting at 12:30 PM at the Grand Ball Room.

Awarded to the first place finishers for each age. Medals are awarded to the fastest male and female of EACH age (e.g., 16,17,18,19,20,21,… and up)! Awards for the overall fastest male and female winners. And then there is the Grand, Overall, Overall, World Champion award!

    Race Swag!
A special award will be given to all preregistered runners.

The John Jantz Memorial S-NO-W Fun Run is sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans of America.  All proceeds from the run will go to the Vietnam Veterans of America.  John Jantz, who started this event, was a Lieutenant and Pilot in the US Navy from 1964 - 69.  He flew reconnaissance missions in Vietnam off the aircraft carrier "The USS Hornet".  John died of cancer due to his exposure to Agent Orange in 2001.

For the love of all that is good and moisture wicking...

Though we try to be accurate and on top of things... Race details can change when we aren't lookin. And once in a while we simply make a mistake.
