2nd Annual Youth Duathlon Presented by Texas Children's Hospital The Woodlands.YMCA Duathlon: For ages 7 – 15, age on race day, August 12, 2023
7am is the start time.
Transition opens at 5:30am.Bike/Run on the Trails near Lake Holcomb. Open to all skills levels. Bike Helmets and Shoes must be worn during the Bike Event. Bike Course will be on the road (Imperial Promenade) Run Course will be on the trails.
Race Course Distances
Bike Lap: 1.25 MileAges 7 - 9: Bike 1 lap, Run 1/4 Mile
Ages 10-12: Bike 2 laps, Run 1/2 Mile
Ages 13 - 15: Bike 3 laps, Run 3/4 MileLocation: The Holcomb Family YMCA.

Early Bird Registration Fee is $37
Early Bird Registration Deadline is July 12
Late Registration Fee is $42
Registration Deadline is August 8 based on space availability.
Fee includes an Event Shirt, Goodie Bag, and Finisher Medal.AWARDS:
Awards are presented to Overall top 3 finishers, Male and Female, for ages 7 - 9, 10-12 and 13 - 15. In addition, top 3 finishers in each age category will be recognized: For example, Boy age 7, Girl age 7, Boy age 8, Girl Age 8 etc . . .Event is capped at 150
Training Clinic, August 10, 7 - 8pm at Holcomb YMCA. Led by Level 3 Certified Coaches Amie and Kyle Quinn with SelecTRI Training Group. There is an additional fee for the clinic. Clinic will prepare youth on what to expect on race day morning including transition area. Please bring your bike and bike helmet.
Packet Pick Up
Packet Pick Up will be available August 10 - 11, 9am - 8pm at the Holcomb Family YMCA and on race day morning, August 12, 5;15 - 6:30am."The new Summer Race Series for Kids, provides children the chance to accomplish a goal while making new friends and feeling like they belong,” says Roxanne Davis, Community Liaison “And because proceeds from the event go to local Y programs like life-saving swim lessons and after school programs, it supports youth development and wellness beyond race day.”
