Helping Hands Run/Walk Event is one our Charity events of Egnite Fitness which focuses on health and wellness of the community. As of January 2020, Georgia had an estimated 10,234 experiencing homelessness on any given day, as reported by Continuums of Care to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Join us November 20th at Piedmont Park and make a difference and have fun!

 Numerous men, ladies, and children were as of now living on the boulevards when the widespread started – they had no domestic to require protect in. The COVID-19 widespread has driven to a rise in homelessness. People started losing employments which has led to the uprise in homelessness

Our mission to the community is to help those in need who have fell to homelessness with providing meals, healthcare pamphlets, clothing, hygiene care items, blankets, and housing essentials.      

This event we are incorporating our participants to help pack care packages with daily essential items and hygiene for those in need. The best part you get to sign your name and leave them a note of care and support! Participants can elect to arrive early to pack care packages before event or after their event takes place. Their will be a list of items to be packed and one of our staff will direct you if you need assistance with this. 

Do you have a team that would like to run the 10k relay? We have a 10k relay which only requires a minimum of 2 people to sign up. You can name your own group just reach out to us by email to get set up or to make any changes to your group. 10k relay with 2 legs will be split into 3 miles each and the 3 team member groups will be split into 2 mile legs.

10k Relay runners will be escorted to switch out points.

Hydration and Aid stations will be at mile markers 1,3,&5. Turn around points will be marked for both routes. 

 Join us at Piedmont Park to support and have some fun. Live music and food refreshments and awards will be present after the race so be sure to stick around. Strollers, and service dogs are allowed along the course but must start in the back to not disrupt runners and for safety. No hoverboards, unauthorized bikes, rollerblades, are allowed on the course. Please note there are a small few stairs on 10k course.

Now adding Virtual option for you to complete anywhere you are by November 30th, 2022. Just send in results for shipping for shirt and medal, if you would like race bib, please email us. 

By signing up you are helping us continue our mission and helps those who are unfortunate. Sign up early for early bird pricing and to guarantee t-shirt. T Shirt cut-off October 31st, 2022. Race timed event. Start location will be on the grass turf area located next to the botanical garden parking lot. Take the stairs located before the parking lot to start area. If you are walking the stairs will be on the right hand side.

We do allow transfers to our other races.events, reach out to customer service for assistance. 

Awards will be given to female/male top 3 runners in 10k and 5k event and 10k Relay Groups,1-3rd Place.
