    Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium & Safari Park is excited to announce they will be hosting Giraffe Jam 2023. Giraffe Jam will be a 5k run/walk through the Zoo and Emceed by Fox10’s Troy Hayden. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Save Giraffes Now, whose mission is to save giraffes from extinction so they can live freely and safely in the woodlands and savannas of their native Africa. 40% of the Giraffe population has declined in the last 3 decades, 50% or more of giraffe infants won't survive to adulthood, 4x as many elephants exist in Africa as giraffes and 3,800,000 square miles of historic giraffe habitat has been lost, an area ~ the size of the US! Join Wildlife World in helping raise money to stop the silent extinction of the world’s tallest gentle giants. Have fun being submerged in wildlife while supporting an important cause.     FINISH LINE: After the race, get your holiday shopping started early by joining us for the Giraffe Browse and Shop vendor event! This is a separate event open to the public with vendors, food, music and fun! 

    NO PETS allowed. 

    NO REFUNDS: You are welcome to contact us to change your registration to another person if you are unable to attend the race for any reason, but no refunds will be issued. 

    Strollers are welcome,

    Please self regulate at starting line; if you are walking or have a stroller please start towards the back so runners trying to get their best time can start first.

    Zoo discounts valid only on race day.

    Registration opens at 6:30am and the race starts at 7:15am and goes until 8:45am. 

    Adult Participants get a Giraffe Jam shirt, participation medal, and $10 discount towards admission into WWZ&SP for all participants (only valid 11/4/23, can’t be combined with any other offers)

    Child Participants (12 years and under) get a Giraffe Jam participation medal, swag bag, and $5 discount towards admission into WWZ&SP for all participants (child participants do not get a shirt, but they will get a special swag bag just for kids!) (only valid 11/4/23, can’t be combined with any other offers)

    All runners receive a finisher medal

    top overall male and female

    1st place boy and girl 12 and under
    1st place male/female 35 and under 
    1st place male/female 35 plus
