    Join our 5k for a Cause on August 7th .  This is a fun run, created by Prodigy Fitness, Girls Soccer Worldwide, and Fleet Feet to support a great cause - to empower girls in sports!  Your entire $30 race registration from this event will benefit local programs supported by Girls Soccer Worldwide, a 501C3 non-profit organization, and their mission of empowering girls to rise out of poverty through sports and education.  

    We will start from Ken Mercer Sports Park in Pleasanton, and enjoy a morning run through the park and onto the Arroyo Mocho Trail.  This is a fun run; it is NOT a timed race!  Never run a 5k and want to train to get yourself ready to crush your 5k goal?  Join our 8 week training program to prepare for the event!  Our 5k for a Cause training program runs from June 13-August 7.  Register for the training, here.

    After the run, we will have music, refreshments, and each organization (Prodigy Fitness, Girls Soccer Worldwide, and Fleet Feet) here to celebrate the finish.  Be sure to hang around for the afterparty - we will have some and raffles to celebrate the finish, and recap the event!  Each participant will receive a race bib and a shirt that can be picked up prior to the event, or day of.
