  • Details from event's RunSignUp.com listing:

Welcome to the 18th annual SALT POINT TRAIL RUN, produced by Pacific Coast Trail Runs.

We are excited to get back to running and camping with our trail running community. Simply put, this is our favorite to produce. We are committed to keep providing a festive atmosphere for all to celebrate. This is Salt Point Trail Run. Choose how much you want to play. It may be as simple as just purchasing a race day entry, or as much as 2-3 Nights of camping, running, and exploring with the trail running community. Come run the ancient trails of the Pomo people. You will go back in time as you witness the wonder of rugged coastline, sandstone cliffs, kelp-dotted coves, tide pools, pygmy forests and panoramic views. Summertime running along the coast normally makes for favorable weather for a fast run. These pristine and historic trails should be on every trail runner and ultra-marathoner's bucket list.
Come camp with the trail running community and the team at Pacific Coast Trail Runs including your Race Directors, Greg & Jennifer Lanctot and new PCTR partners, Chef Yaku Moton-Spruill, wife Judith and kids Angel and Brooklyn. as well as Steve "The Captain" Prior.

Special thanks to our local running store hosts and partner Healdsburg Running Company - America's Winiest Running Store.

Parking is $8. We suggest bringing exact change. This will help with flow in past the gate. Every park is different with regards to staffing and how they receive payment. If you arrive before the gate attendant is present, then we hope you use the manual payment system at the gate. They will write parking tickets later if you did not make payment. After paying, please follow the road straight to the huge parking lot. There are bathrooms and mobile reception there. You will then walk 4/10's of a mile to the start. Follow the pink/blue/yellow ribbons to the start/finish area.

15 Minutes before your race start. It's very important to be there for this. At this time, the Race Director will talk about all course information learned from trail work and course markings.
