    Friday July 7--5k Run/Walk 7pm
    Where: Highland General Store & Campground
    Pre-Registration deadline: Forms/money RECEIVED by June 25 (to receive a t-shirt if wanted)
    Time: Race Night registration: 5:30-6:45
    Registration Fee Adults/Teens: 25.00----Children (12& Under) 15.00
    This is a kid friendly, dog friendly event (all dogs must be on a leash)

    Following the 5K you are invited to stick around as there will be brats, hot dogs, chips, bars, and beverages included in your paid registration fee.

    Proceeds this year will be going to:
    Rhett Einck: Rhett is the 4 year old son of Amber and Shane Einck of Decorah.  Rhett was diagnosed in April with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, which is a form of blood cancer.


    Brenda Falck:  Brenda has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

    Robby Miller:  Robby is the 5 year old son of Michelle and Will Miller.  His Mom was born and raised in Decorah, and they currently reside in New Hampton, IA.  Robby was diagnosed with Myoclonic Astatic Epilepsy shortly after his 3rd Birthday.  In the past 2 1/2 years he has undergone several medical tests, including multiple hospitalizations in regards to his seizures.  His EEG's capture him having 250 plus seizures a day.  Currently Robby is on 6 seizure treatments to try and manage them.  He is scheduled for brain surgery in August in an attempt to reduce his seizures, also.

    David Stoen:  David has been a long time resident of the Highlandville area.  He lost his wife a year ago the weekend of this event, and he is currently on hospice for prostate cancer.

    Schedule of Events for Saturday, July 8

    Silent Auction throughout entire day
    10 am: Candy Bar Bingo at Campground under tent

    11am until sold out- Duck race ducks for sale
    12 pm Bean Bag Tournament, Registration 11-11:45. Social & Competitive classes with payout (assuming enough teams to split) $25 per team
    7pm POTLUCK, please bring a lawn chair, dish to pass and beverage. We will be providing hot dogs and hamburgers with a free will donation.

    Duck Race will take place between meal and fireworks.

    8pm: Silent Auction closing
    Fireworks at dusk
